Alef is an independent magazine published out of Doha, Qatar. Printed bi monthly in a bilingual format. The magazine focuses on cultural topics that are indigenous to the Gulf region.

I created a minimal geometric Kaaba design within a hexagon combined with a modern take on the Sadu pattern design used in traditional fabrics in the Middle East.
